I look forward to at some point reforming our electoral system to allow for ranked-choice voting, or some other method that would give third parties a more level playing field. I think that one of the solutions to the current political problem is to allow other voices, such as those of the Pacific Green Party and the Libertarians, to be seriously heard at the national level. <BR/><BR/>As for a "lower standard of living," I'm not sure this is required. I think it's quite possible to maintain our high standard of living, and to do so using a lot less petroleum.
